Rayhona Tuymuradova is an Uzbek secondary-school chemistry student who won a gold medal at the 58th International Chemistry Olympiad, held in her own country's capital, Tashkent, from 10 to 19 July 2026.
She finished 27th in the individual standings, the best result of any member of Uzbekistan's four-person delegation and the team's only gold. Her team-mates Mirjalol Homidjonov, Azizmuhammad Hafizov and Jasur Mustafoev each took silver, meaning every Uzbek competitor came away from the home Olympiad with a medal.
The 2026 competition awarded 41 gold, 74 silver and 112 bronze medals in total. The IChO tests students across a theoretical paper and a laboratory practical, both taken over five hours, and restricts entry to secondary-school students under 20.
